The campsite is the perfect starting point for discovering the documenta city. From here, you can quickly reach the large Karlsaue Park with the Orangery, and it is not far to the city of Kassel with its numerous tourist attractions, shopping opportunities and museums such as GRIMM WORLD. The numerous documenta outdoor artworks such as the “Pickaxe” and the “Man Walking to the Sky”, which have left their mark everywhere in the cityscape, are unique to Kassel. And thanks to the well-developed public transport, you can even reach more remote destinations such as Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe comfortably without a car or caravan.
