Welcome to KasselCamping
We are open for you again
To ensure that your stay with us is as enjoyable, carefree and safe as possible, we have developed a hygiene concept in cooperation with the local authorities which we must and intend to comply with. It is based on the social distancing and restricted business regulations currently in force in Hesse, the "Corona-Kontakt- und Betriebsbeschränkungsverordnung" (german).
This season, we can offer you a maximum of 70 pitches on our campsite. You must therefore book your pitch in advance. Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer you additional or emergency pitches when the campsite is booked to capacity. There are a further 20 touring pitches for motorhomes. These cannot be booked in advance. Each pitch may be occupied by a maximum of six people if they live together in one household, otherwise a maximum of two people.
You can check in from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day. The amount due for the entire stay must be paid in advance when you check in, preferably by debit or credit card.
When you check in, we now need to record more personal data than just the details we are obliged to for registration purposes (names of everyone in the party, telephone number or email address, number plate) in order to be able to inform guests as soon as possible in the event of an infection, although it will hopefully never come to this. If you are suffering from any of the symptoms associated with Covid-19, we are unfortunately unable to let you stay with us. It is currently normal to ask everyone on arrival to confirm that this does not apply to them or to anyone travelling with them.
Although you are allowed to use the toilets and showers on campsites in Hesse, we would nevertheless urge you to use the washroom in your caravan whenever possible. This year, guests staying in motorhomes are not allowed to use the campsite's toilet and shower block (in return, you will only be charged the low season price for your pitch).
Please cover your mouth and nose with a mask in the immediate vicinity of the reception area and the toilet and shower block.
Our campsite is usually quite "open". This year, we must make sure that only registered guests are on site. That is also why every guest will be given a wristband that must be worn during your stay.
You may meet up with one other person or members of one other household on the campsite. Please maintain a distance of 1.5 metres to all other guests as well as to our staff.
You must also comply with certain rules when parking your caravan or motorhome. Please park your caravan with the hitch pointing towards the site road, or your motorhome with the front facing the site road. Depending on availability, we will be happy to meet your individual preferences – morning or evening sun – when you make your booking.
You are welcome to barbecue on your pitch, provided you comply with the fire safety regulations and do not inconvenience your neighbours. Unfortunately, joint barbecues, parties or picnicking on our sunbathing lawn will not be possible this year.
Please take note of the latest information in the display cases.
We are sure you will appreciate these measures and are looking forward to meeting you!

We took over the campsite in 2017 after it lay idle for four years. As a first step, we invested a lot in its infrastructure (paths, water and electricity supply, hedges and trees). Unfortunately, we still have no access to the part of the property on which the former farm building stands. We, therefore, work with container solutions at the reception and the sanitary facilities, which are in any case in a very well-maintained condition.
Particularly important to us is the personal contact with our guests and a high level of customer orientation. During the operation of the place we have found a perfect partner with Baunataler Diakonie Kassel e.V. As part of an inclusion project, people with and without handicaps work together to make carefree camping holidays in Kassel possible.
Our site manager, Mr. Gunnar Fehling, and his team look forward to welcoming you.
